An ISP proxy (also known as static residential proxy) is an IP address that originates from a residential Internet Service Provider (ISP) like Comcast, AT&T, or Verizon, but is hosted on datacenter infrastructure. This gives you the best of both worlds: the speed and stability of datacenter proxies combined with the legitimacy and trust of residential IPs.
ISP proxies are ideal for use cases that require high success rates on websites with strict anti-bot protections, such as sneaker drops, ticketing platforms, or social media automation. They are static by nature, meaning the IP address does not rotate, which makes them perfect for long sessions that require account stability.

How it works
When a provider buys IP blocks from a residential ISP and announces them from a datacenter rack, the ASN lookup still returns the original ISP. Anti-bot stacks like Cloudflare, Akamai, and PerimeterX score the IP on its ASN reputation first, which is why ISP proxies pass classifiers that block AWS or Hetzner ranges on sight. The infrastructure underneath is fast (10Gbps uplinks, sub-10ms latency in US/EU), and because each IP is owned outright rather than borrowed from a peer device, the connection never drops mid-session.
You connect over HTTP or SOCKS5 with username and password authentication. The IP stays the same across requests for as long as you hold it, which is exactly what queue systems, multi-account managers, and checkout flows need.
